Intercontinental Homes Savings & Loans Plc (formerly Partnership Savings & Loans Limited - PSL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Intercontinental Bank Plc. PSL was acquired by Gateway Bank Plc in June 2003 and started business on September 1, 2003.
Intercontinental Bank acquired Gateway Bank Plc when Central Bank of Nigeria mandated that share capital of banks be raised to N25billion in 2005.
Upon acquisition, Partnership Savings & Loans Limited was changed to “Intercontinental Homes (Savings & Loans ) Limited” in March 2006, to reflect the new ownership structure with a new Board of Directors and Management.
